The great highlight of 1958 was the peroduction of "The Merry Widow" by Sadler's Wells Opera Company.  The leading parts were played by June Bronhill and Thomas Round

Sorry to say the list of D'Oyly Carte broadcasts has totally vanished and the Merry Widow's song has become a silent one. There errors wil be corrected in the near future - for the meantime hum it amomg yourselves.
